Discover Dili Guidebook – East Timor, also known as Timor Leste

Discover Dili Guidebook Cover
The Discover Dili Guidebook can be purchased at the Balispirit Shop and KAFE, located on the first floor of the The Yoga Barn©.
East Timor, now known as Timor Leste, is the world's newest nation. Less than three years ago, on May 20th, Timor Leste formally became independent after centuries of colonialism and occupation by other nations. Timor Leste is now building a future for itself. One of its main assets is its beautiful geography and friendly people. Its pristine beaches and beautiful mountains make Timor Leste the perfect tourist destination. As the months go by, more and more infrastructure is being put in place to accommodate the dream that someday soon Timor Leste will become a popular South-East Asian tourist destination.

Discover Dili is Timor Leste's first guidebook. Its goal is to promote sustainable tourism in Timor Leste and expose Timor's beauty to the world. Set up by Sean Borrell over a year ago, Discover Dili is now about to release its third edition, including information on accommodation, restaurants, nightspots, and feature trips around the island.

Maps of Dili and Timor can also be found in Discover Dili Guide and online at the new Discover Dili website. Timor Leste is a safe and welcoming destination for any type of tourist.
