BaliSpirit comes to Green Camp
“An Amazing Day!” - Meghan Pappenheim, Bali Spirit Director
The Green Camp, located on the Green School Campus, was delighted to host the 4th annual staff & family outing for the BaliSpirit Group, in the last quarter of 2010.
The Green School’s grounds are a beautiful and spacious environment. The directors of BaliSpirit chose the Green Camp to host their annual event because they wanted to remind their staff and their families (all 228 of them!) about the beauty and essence of nature, while encouraging the importance of teamwork. The 9am to 4pm event was an action-packed day full of exciting and fun activities, great food and entertainment for both adults and children.
Led by an incredible team builder named Mr. Nyoman, the Green Camp led the adult BaliSpiriters through a host of magical and traditional Balinese games including Meong- Meong, Nyuun Penarak, Guli & Sendok and Bamboo; while the children of were entertained by the famous Green Camp Amazing Race and other popular activities made possible through the incredible diversity of the venue.

We are very excited to announce the second School of Sacred Arts Teacher Training for 2010 featuring a number of talented teachers from The Yoga Barn.
The 200 hour Yoga Alliance accredited training will be facilitated by SOSA co-founders Simone MacKay and Troy McFadden. The respected SOSA team members will cover everything from yoga philosophy and history, anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, how to teach a vinyasa flow class, ayurveda, tantra, yin yoga, how to work with injuries, and make mindful adjustments. Also joining will be a number of passionate teachers, sharing their gifts of kirtan, pujas and dance meditations.

Desa Seni, A Village Resort and the Yoga Pancamaya Foundation will be hosting the 4th annual Healing Fair or Pancamaya Kosha Therapy Workshop on Saturday and Sunday, January 22nd & 23rd, 2011 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm each day. It is open to the public, free of charge, with donations welcome to help support the Yoga Pancamaya Foundation to further their studies and training.
This is a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in a plethora of different healing modalities. This event is free of charge and open to the public to come explore and experience. The offerings on hand for these two days will include many varied and different types of therapy ranging from Shiatsu to Loloh Bali and Jamu; biofeedback therapies such as Prana and Reiki to thought & belief interventions such as Taksu Bali and Clairvoyants, as well as many others.
