Meliana Salim's first showing of works reveals her two favorite gratifications in life: traveling and scuba diving. 29-year-old Meliana hails from Jakarta and currently manages an established publishing company in Bali. She's also a contributing photojournalist for magazines.

Leon Vrielink was pronounced Bali's youngest known photographer at 18 last year before he left for studies at The Royal Art Academy in De Hague, Holland - but decided he missed Bali! So back on the island he loves, this exhibition includes new works through a more mature artistic sense.

Stringer's sound marries the transcendent mysticism of traditional Indian instruments with the exuberant, groove-oriented sensibility of American gospel, and he is regarded as one of the most gifted singers in the genre. Stringer, who is also an accomplished composer and multi-instrumentalist, has a special ability to bring people together and inspire them to sing. His work intends to create a modern and participatory theatrical experience out of the ancient traditions of kirtan and yoga, open to a multiplicity of interpretations, and accessible to all.

Brought to us by the Indian Cultural Center, Tanmoy Bose and his group Taal Tantra will headline an exclusive performance in the amphitheatre of the Yoga Barn, in Ubud.' This event is unique to Bali and should not be missed. 

One of the foremost percussionists in India -Tanmoy Bose who plays the Tabla, brings together India and Western rhythms to enthrall audiences the world over. Tanmoy Bose was born in a family of music maestros and has been a student of Pandit Ravi Shankar and Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, two of the greatest maestros of Indian classical music.

In his very original compositions, the classical intricate sounds are beautifully woven with folk traditions of music, which has been the mainstay of Indian composite music. 'Taal Tantra' has been the primary platform for Tanmoy's experimentations. The mood, soul, surrounding, nature and beauty, all together prepares the ground for creation. While the essence of 'Taal Tantra' is diversity, it concentrates on the influence of traditional Indian Classical and folk forms and the timeless Jazz. 

Equally brilliant in traditional as well as experimental genres, Tanmoy Bose has carved out a unique niche for himself as a classical musician, new age artist and composer.

Tickets are available on the night of the show, all proceeds will support the BaliSpirit Festival Music Collaboration Initiative.
