Ubud surrounding rice terrace, Fresh country charm in Bali's heartland
We are situated in the country side surrounded by rice terraces, where you can see the real Balinese daily life. We
provide breakfast, lunch and dinner - Balinese or Western style.
We are a Balinese family who have opened our traditional family compound to guests from other countries. The rest
of this profile is written by an English speaking friend of the family, so it is written from their point of view.
"The excellent location of this family homestay is one of the main reasons guest first choose it- it is in a beautiful,
rural area just north of the busy Ubud center. Then people realize that the real treasure is the family who run it. The
father of the family is I Made Arka. He is a well known Balinese artist, and teaches art classes from home as well as
at ARMA Museum in Central Ubud. He has visited Australia for an exhibition of his paintings and is well educated and
open minded- he loves to learn about other countries. He writes art and culture articles at Ubud Community News
magazine. Cooking classes for traditional Balinese dishes are also offered with his wife.
They like to share Balinese culture with their guests, either by chatting on the shared verandas or by taking people
on beautiful tours around the island."
Free shuttle bus to Ubud center, Pick up/Drop off to Airport with extra charge, Tour service - all around Bali, walking
rice terrace tour.
