The 'Bali Art Camp' group organizes international creative art, spiritual, and sports camps in Bali, Indonesia, 'island of gods', on a regular basis. Shifts are planned to take place during local religious festivals, so we may get a glimpse of Balinese hindu tradition and daily life, as well.
In the art camp programme, participants may practice at a relevant studio (eg: painting school, sculptor, potter, glass-blower, designer, photographer's workshop/studio) together with local artists and craftsmen. For them, we organize a final showcase in a popular Balinese art gallery out of the artwork created during their stay.
Those who participate in the spiritual programme, attend yoga classes, visit local healers, hindu temples on the island, and get scheduled bodywork and meditation sessions.
The sports camp is intended to focus on different active holiday programmes, such as diving in East-Bali, surfing courses, rafting in Ubud's surroundings, rice paddy walks, trekking on Gunung Agung.
Other art courses by Bali Art Camp:
- Introduction of painting techniques, such as: acrylic, water-colour, oil, pastel crayon, pencil, airbrush, spray, on different materials, such as: glass, textile, wood, metal, stone, canvas, paper, tarp
- wall-painting with brush, spray, and graffiti techniques
- airbrush on cars, surfboards, motorbikes
- body painting, tattoo
