The Retreat
This 5 day retreat is held in Candi Dasa, an unspoilt seaside village in lush
surroundings, 2 hours north-east of Kuta.
Participate in yoga, meditation and pranayama daily or twice daily, There will
be free time to enjoy snorkelling, sailing or relaxing by the pool. This
retreat is suitable for beginners to general levels.
The Resort
Puri Bagus resort features a newly completed day spa, restaurant and
air-conditioned rooms with private outdoor bathrooms and traditional Balinese
décor. Twin share or single rooms are available. Lush tropical gardens
and wonderful ocean views.
Your Teachers
Sue Hawkins
has been practising yoga for over 23 years and teaching for 8. She is the
founder of Byron Bay Yoga and holds yoga and meditation retreats in Byron Bay
and internationally. Sue has experience in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga and her
teaching style is a combination of both.
Stephan Kahlert
is a psychologist with over 20 years experience as a yoga and meditation
practitioner. He has also facilitated many international corporate workshops
and seminars on stress management.
The Schedule
Arrive on the afternoon of the 21st to settle in to your room. The first yoga
class is on Friday morning. The morning classes will be taught by Sue and will
be a more dynamic practice, including vinyasa flow. The afternoon classes,
taught by Stephan, will focus on a restorative practice and will include
meditation and pranayama, as well as yoga philosophy. The retreat finishes on
the morning of 27th July.

Getting There
You will need to organise your flight to Denpasar and we will arrange your
transfer to and from the airport to the Puri Bagus Resort. You require US $25
in cash as you go through Bali Immigration for your visa.
